Modern Agriculture Research 32 Evaluation and Analysis of the Benefits of Intelligent Upgrades in Greenhouses in Beijing A Case Study of Pinggu District Beijing ZHAO Kun 1 LIU Minghui 1 ZHANG Baochang 1 ZHANG Zhanlong 1 ZHANG Xin 2 1 Beijing Pinggu Plant Protection Service Center Beijing 101299 2 Beijing Research Center of Intelligent Equipment for Agriculture Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences Beijing 100089 2025 09 25 NY2502090200 1988 1981 Abstract In response to the challenges faced in the application and promotion of intelligent equipment and technolo gies this study selected four typical solar greenhouse bases in Pinggu District Beijing known as the Agricultural Zhongguancun for testing and research The performance usage and production application effects of three levels of intelligent equipment combinations were evaluated and a comprehensive assessment of the mechanization and digitaliza tion levels in facility horticulture was conducted The results indicate that the application of intelligent equipment and technologies has contributed to labor savings reduced work intensity and improved production efficiency Additionally it increased the annual net profit by 12 5 achieving an annual profit of 57 2 yuan per square meter with an input output ratio of approximately 1 6 The significant improvement in intelligence is primarily attributed to the use of envi ronmental control and integrated water fertilizer equipment The mechanization score increased from 22 before the up grade to 55 60 while the digitalization score rose from 7 to 30 In contrast the application of supplementary lighting spray and carbon dioxide regulation equipment did not significantly enhance economic benefits or reduce labor costs Therefore the basic level intelligent equipment combination is more suitable for widespread application and promotion Future efforts should focus on strengthening the development of compatible hardware and software constructing big data cloud platforms to enhance the intelligence and stability of mechanized equipment further improving the professionalism 1 1 1 1 2 1 101299 2 100089 4 3 12 5 57 2 1 6 22 55 60 7 30 S24 A 2096 1073 2026 01 00 18 23 18 DOI 10 19704 ki xdnyyj 2026 01 004
